Hi Everyone
We are on a 6 week trip of a lifetime visiting Singapore (2 nights), Perth (5 nights), Melbourne (4 nights), touring the South and then the North Islands of New Zealand for nearly a month, finishing with 3 nights in Hong Kong.
A wonderful opportunity to take photographs of so many contrasting cultures and landscapes. We would like to share a selection of images we have taken along the way on our Nikon D7000 and D800 cameras. We hope you enjoy them and continue to follow us on our adventures.
(The most recent post will be the first you will see so by working backwards and through the 'older posts' you will get to the beginning of the trip. Posts will be added when we get the selected images processed and internet access).

The NZ national flag was on display at the Hilton Hotel, which is designed in the style of an ocean liner and located on Princes Wharf facing into the harbour. The silver fern symbol is displayed all over NZ and they are quite rightly proud of their beautiful country of 4 million people, 1 million of whom live in the Auckland conurbation.

If in Auckland we recommend this place. It is a kind of cut above food court with small individual restaurants organised round a central covered courtyard serving Italian, German, Spanish, Indian, Asian, Cajun food and one outlet sells home made desserts. The tripod was out again and we went back to the same location in Wynyard Quarter to take this image. Quite a few people said to us that they were not that fussed by Auckland. Well we liked it especially the waterfront and it is a good base to visit the surrounding area.
