We loved the Singapore skyline. In the absence of a tripod (we've bought one now) we used a variety of walls and flat surfaces and a remote timer to capture these images.
The following image is of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, or MBS to the locals. This is a very impressive 200 metre high luxury hotel and convention centre. You can pay to take the lift to the top floor (or purchase drinks within the bar) where there is an infinity pool and open air bar. This is a recommended spot for taking photos of the skyline but we were pleased with the way the ones turned out from ground level plus our feet were killing us so walking any further was out of the question.
